Daily Loss Limit
IntermediateHow the daily loss limit works and resets.
The daily loss limit restricts how much you can lose in a single trading day. This is measured from your balance at the start of the trading day (00:00 UTC).
How It Works
At the start of each trading day, your daily loss limit is calculated as a percentage of your starting balance for that day. If your equity drops below this level at any point during the day, your account is breached.
Daily Limit by Challenge
| Challenge Type | Daily Loss Limit |
|---|---|
| 2-Phase Standard | 5% of daily start balance |
| 1-Phase Express | 4% of daily start balance |
| Funded Account | 5% of daily start balance |
Important
The daily loss limit includes both realized (closed) and unrealized (open) losses. Floating drawdown on open positions counts! Always monitor your open P&L.
Reset Time
The daily loss limit resets every day at 00:00 UTC. Your new daily limit is recalculated based on your account balance at that time.
